'I should never have Bought'
The first thing many people do when they wake up nowadays is make a cup of tea. I saw this micromark teasmade advertised on TV and thought I had to get one. It has a digital clock and alarm, but the clever bit is when the alarm goes off it boils the kettle and pours the water into a mug with a tea bag already in place. Therefore, after a couple of snoozes on the alarm, the tea will have stood nicely and is ready to drink. A cup of tea, in the morning, no effort. Well, not really. A couple of morning cups of tea after I bought it I was becoming less and less impressed with the product. The designers really didn’t think carefully enough about it. For example, you need milk for your tea in the morning, yet there is not cold storage on the product, so you have to go downstairs to the fridge anyway to get the milk. You may as well just make the tea now you’re down there. Then there’s the noise it makes. It’s like a jet engine is starting up on your bedside table, not the most pleasant noise to wake up to every morning. There is a light that can not be turned off, which will definitely prevent any sleep occurring. The tea it produces is not up to standard as the pot does not get warmed before hand. Then when it is in the mug, scum can form on top of the tea. Also, when it comes to pouring it, the tea pot is monstrously heavy for what it is, and the last few drops in the pot can not be reached without the lid falling off. The list of problems goes on and on and I strongly recommend to every tea drinker out there to never buy the micromark teasmade.
